THE CONCLUDING CHAPTER OF CRAWFORD
Disclaimer: "The Joan Crawford Footage Club" is not operated by "The Concluding Chapter Of Crawford" or it's webmaster.
This club page is provided as a service by the website for Joan Crawford fans, and in the interest of continued research of Joan Crawford.
All sales, pledges and communications regarding "The Joan Crawford Footage Club" is between that individual and the club's organizer,
"Billie Cassin", who can be contacted at CrawfordTV@hotmail.com
The Club's Purpose:
To discover, enjoy and celebrate newly discovered footage and audio of Joan Crawford.
How the Club Works:
Upon the discovery of new footage/material, a picture and description of the footage will be posted.
A club drive will then begin to raise the funds needed to obtain the material, plus an additional 10% fee which will be added to the “Joan Crawford Footage Bank”.
During the pledge drive, club members can pledge whatever amount they wish for the footage.
(Pledges will be sent via email to CrawfordTV@hotmail.com)
Members may pledge whatever they can afford (i.e. $10-$1,000). When the item's cost is reached, the item will be sent to the pledgees.
Following the pledge drive, the footage will not be available again.
For instance, it will not be listed for sale on eBay, uploaded to Youtube or distributed/shared in any other fashion.
*If later club members want an item previously offered before they joined the club, they must contribute a set price to the “Joan Crawford Footage Bank” upon receipt of the non-disclosure confidentiality agreement.
How To Join:
Members will fill out a legal non-disclosure confidentiality agreement which will be sent via email to the applying member.
The agreement will be binding and explain the governance of footage distributed to you.
All footage items will be marked with an onscreen "identifier" specific to each member.
This helps guarantee the confidentiality agreement and to prevent bootlegging, YouTube posting, trading or any other kind of dissemination by club members. (See image below:)
What is the “Joan Crawford Footage Bank”?:
It is a 10% monetary collection, like an origination fee, taken for each footage item being put into the club library for the first time.
In short, it is a fund for fans to voluntarily contribute to that will then be used for the benefit of ALL Joan Crawford fans.
The fund balance will be made public at all times on the club page and will serve 2 purposes:
1. It will be used to pay for Joan Crawford items for all fans to enjoy regardless of ability to pay and regardless of whether or not they are in the club.
These items will then have their exclusive premiere on "The Concluding Chapter of Crawford" website.
It also allows fans to notify the club president of discoveries, who can then use the fund to obtain the item without the need for a pledge drive.
The fund will also be used to pay for discoveries made by, and paid for, by other Crawford fans to premiere on the website without the need for a pledge drive. Because items discovered and paid for by this fund will be premiered publicly on the website, they fall outside of the non-disclosure confidentiality agreement of club members.
2. Funds will be used to pursue legal action against members who violate the non-disclosure confidentiality agreement signed by them.
Proceeds from such legal actions would go into the fund after attorney fees.
Note: If you have no intention to sell, trade, post or disseminate the item, this aspect of the fund should not concern you.

Once a footage item is posted and a member expresses an interest in it, the member can send an email to club president "Billie Cassin" at Crawfordtv@hotmail.com.
The member will receive a non-disclosure confidentiality agreement to sign and return when the member makes a pledge.
The pledge, only collected when the full amount has been reached, must be made by check or PayPal.
Note: The name and address on the account must match the name and address on the non-disclosure confidentiality agreement.
An interview of Crawford at a Pepsi plant opening has been discovered. It cost the club president $1500 to transfer and process the footage.
A full description of the footage, including it's length and quality (with screenshots) will be put on the club page along with a Pepsi bottle showing the progress of the pledges.
The bottle would show $1500 plus $150 (10%) for the "footage bank" - for a total pledge drive of $1650.
When that amount is reached and collected, the item will be sent to pledgees and $150 will go to the "footage bank" for future discoveries.
All future club members can obtain the item through the club for a set contribution to the "footage bank".
Once a non-disclosure confidentiality agreement is on file, you do not have to do another one for each additional discovery. You are set for the duration of the club’s existence.
(In addition to the "identifier" on the footage item, there will also be a hidden marker embedded in the footage on a single frame at a pre-determined time code unique to the club member and known only by the club president in the event that the screen "identifier" is altered or removed.)
