Joan's involvement in the production:
In early 1961, Screen Gems producer William Dozier was going to begin production on this weekly, half-hour show, set for the 1961 fall television season.
A party was held at the 21 Club in Manhattan, New York to celebrate the contract signing. However, shortly afterword the series was cancelled.
In October 1961, Joan said "After what happened to Barbara Stanwyck, June Allyson and Loretta Young, I doubt if the time is right."

Production on the series never resumed.
