     According to census records, this duplex apartment was were Joan's mother Anna, and brother Hal, lived in 1940 through the early 1950s. The two-story duplex (built in 1933) housed two apartments, one on the lower story, and one on the upper. Anna and Hal's apartment was on the second story. The apartment was 1,850 square foot, and consisted of three bedrooms with two bathrooms.
